September 2025 - United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network High-level Meeting

Contributed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network High-level meeting during the UN General Assembly in New York. The event consisted of various discussions related to improving sustainability outcomes. Our pitch for the Universities for Goal 13 project was shown and judged by stakeholders.
August 2025 - Universities for Goal 13 UN Competition

Video pitch for our project in the Universities for Goal 13 competition which challenges students to develop practical, multidisciplinary, and collaborative solutions for climate action (SDG 13). Our project tackles food insecurity by improving access to sustainably grown produce in food deserts. From 15 submissions by over 50 students, only eight - including ours - advanced to the final round.

Guided poster presentation at ECO 2025 on one of my PhD studies with aims to investigate whether fast-food outlets cluster around London schools and examines the association between fast-food clustering and childhood obesity prevalence.

Oral presentation at the GISRUK Conference 2025 on one of my PhD studies which aims to investigate where the greatest density of fast-food outlets are in relation to schools in London, to guide policymakers on the distance thresholds for their takeaway management zones.
